Seattle-Based Animation Company Expands into Asia-Pacific Markets
(Seattle, Wash.) - Global Wonder Entertainment, Inc., the award-winning animation and game development company (formally known as Tooned In, Inc.) announces the opening of its first Asia-Pacific office.

The new office is based in Seoul, South Korea to serve all of Asia-Pacific, and has begun to develop partnerships to leverage Global Wonder Entertainment’s mobile and online efforts. "The opening of our first office in this market provides a tremendous opportunity for us to bring our content to a wider audience, as well as develop relationships with world-class innovators in online and mobile entertainment," said Cindy Ball, CEO of Global Wonder.

According to IDC Research, the worldwide casual game market is projected to grow from 2.6 million games sold in 2005 to 36.8 million in 2007, resulting in sales of $52.7 million to $762 million respectively. The mobile content market is expected to grow from $5B in 2005, to over $9B in 2009, according to Jupiter Research.

The Asia-Pacific region will account for around 50% of the world's total number of mobile phone subscribers by the end of the decade, as reported by Telecom Asia Daily.

“The mobile entertainment industry is maturing quickly. Carriers and customers alike are looking for original, high-quality entertainment tailored specifically for the mobile experience. Our ability to create innovative animation and games, and develop distribution partnerships, positions us well to lead in this exciting arena,” said Cindy Ball.

Business development for Global Wonder Entertainment’s Korean office will be led by Clara Bhang. Clara is a strong multi-national executive with experience in international marketing, partnerships, and sales for both online and mobile.
